The Coltida- A Story of a Communities' Grit

One of the final ships to have taken part in the unlawful enslavement of African people gives rise to  descendants committed to finding the remains of the lost ship that once held their ancestors. The Coltida tells the story of a committed people to uncovering truth and finding solace.  A small community called Africatown would be developed by the descendants.

Greater Deanwood: Self-Reliance in Washington DC

The Deanwood neighborhood is a prominent African-American neighborhood located in Washington D.C. Once a former slave plantation, the area consisted of some of the first inclusive spaces for African-Americans.

Harlem Children's Zone

Built by Geoffery Canada HCZ exists as a cradle to career network for families of color to mitgate the systemic oppressions and complexities plagues the Black Culture.
